Throughout these Terms, “Unbound Ink,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Unbound Ink, LLC, operating under the brand name Unbound Ink, unless otherwise stated.

“Customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to any person, business, team, organization, or group using our website, submitting artwork, requesting a quote, placing an order, approving production details, or communicating with us.

By using our website, requesting a quote, submitting artwork, approving an order, making a payment, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Legal Notice, Artwork Requirements, and any other policies posted on our website.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. No Public Storefront or Pickup

Unbound Ink does not operate a public retail storefront. For privacy, safety, and operational reasons, we do not accept walk-ins, in-person consultations, customer pickup, customer drop-offs, or unauthorized returns unless expressly agreed in writing.

All quote requests, artwork submissions, approvals, payments, order updates, customer support, and production communications are handled online.

3. Eligibility to Use Our Services

By using our website or placing an order, you represent that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction.
  • You have authority to place an order on behalf of yourself, your business, team, organization, or group.
  • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You will not use our website or services for unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access to our services if we believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Our Services

Unbound Ink provides custom apparel production services, which may include:

  • Artwork review
  • Artwork preparation guidance
  • Quote preparation
  • Garment sourcing
  • Custom DTF print-and-press production
  • Production coordination
  • Quality review
  • Packaging and shipping

Unbound Ink is not a self-service DTF transfer marketplace, blank apparel store, or guaranteed same-day production service. Our process is guided and custom, which means some orders may require file review, customer clarification, proof approval, or production adjustments before moving forward.

5. Quotes, Pricing, and Availability

Quotes, pricing, service offerings, garment options, production timelines, and availability are subject to change.

A quote does not become final until confirmed by Unbound Ink and accepted by the customer.

We may revise a quote if any order details change, including:

  • Artwork specifications
  • File quality
  • Garment selection
  • Garment availability
  • Quantity
  • Print size
  • Print placement
  • Number of print locations
  • Production complexity
  • Shipping details
  • Rush requirements
  • Customer-requested changes

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, listing errors, quote errors, or service description errors before final order acceptance.

6. Orders and Payment

Orders may require full payment before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Production will not begin until all required items are received and confirmed, including:

  • Final artwork
  • Required customer information
  • Approved quote or invoice
  • Approved proof, mockup, or order details when applicable
  • Full or agreed-upon payment
  • Complete shipping information

Payments may be processed through Shopify, Shop Pay, credit card providers, PayPal, or other third-party payment processors. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, policies, processing times, and dispute procedures.

7. Customer Approval Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details before approval, including:

  • Artwork
  • Spelling
  • Wording
  • Logo or design accuracy
  • Garment style
  • Garment color
  • Garment size
  • Quantity
  • Print size
  • Print placement
  • Shipping information
  • Quote details
  • Invoice details
  • Any proof, preview, or mockup provided

Approval of a quote, invoice, proof, mockup, or production detail confirms that the customer accepts those details for production.

Once a customer approves a proof, mockup, quote, invoice, or production detail, Unbound Ink is not responsible for errors included in the approved materials unless the final product differs from the approved details due to an error by Unbound Ink.

Once production begins, customer-approved details cannot be changed, canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded except as required by law or as stated in our Return & Refund Policy.

8. Custom-Made Products

All custom apparel orders are made to order. Because each order is produced specifically for the customer, custom products are generally final sale once production begins.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect size selected by the customer
  • Incorrect garment color selected by the customer
  • Incorrect garment style selected by the customer
  • Customer-approved artwork
  • Customer-approved spelling or wording
  • Customer-approved print placement
  • Customer-approved garment selection
  • Customer-approved quantity
  • Minor color differences
  • Minor production variations common in custom apparel
  • Missed event deadlines unless expressly guaranteed in writing

Qualifying issues, such as damaged items, defective products, incorrect orders caused by Unbound Ink, or missing items, are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Artwork Submission and File Requirements

Customers are responsible for submitting artwork that meets our production requirements.

Artwork may require review, clarification, adjustment, or replacement before production can begin. Submission of artwork does not guarantee that the file is production-ready.

Unbound Ink may reject, delay, or request replacement artwork if the file is low resolution, blurry, improperly sized, incomplete, unsuitable for production, or inconsistent with our Artwork Requirements.

Production timelines begin only after all required artwork, approvals, payment, and order details have been received and confirmed.

10. Artwork Ownership and Customer Rights

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right, license, permission, or authorization to use any artwork, logo, phrase, name, image, photograph, likeness, trademark, copyrighted material, or other content submitted to Unbound Ink.

By submitting artwork or other content to Unbound Ink, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the submitted content or have permission to use it.
  • The content does not violate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other legal rights.
  • The content does not contain unlawful, harmful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, misleading, or infringing material.
  • You authorize Unbound Ink to use the submitted content solely to review, prepare, produce, fulfill, document, and communicate about your order.

Unbound Ink does not verify ownership, licensing rights, copyright status, trademark clearance, or commercial-use permission for customer-submitted artwork.

11. AI-Generated, Template-Based, or Third-Party Artwork

Customers are responsible for confirming that any AI-generated, Canva-created, Etsy-purchased, marketplace-purchased, stock, template-based, or third-party-assisted artwork may lawfully be used for commercial custom apparel production.

Unbound Ink does not verify:

  • Copyright ownership
  • Trademark clearance
  • Licensing rights
  • Commercial-use permissions
  • AI platform usage rights
  • Marketplace file restrictions
  • Stock asset limitations

If you are unsure whether artwork may be used for apparel production, confirm the rights with the original creator, platform, marketplace, or a qualified legal professional before submitting it.

12. Customer Indemnification for Submitted Content

By submitting artwork, logos, phrases, images, names, photographs, designs, or other materials, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unbound Ink from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising from your submitted content.

This includes claims involving:

  • Copyright infringement
  • Trademark infringement
  • Brand impersonation
  • Right of publicity
  • Privacy rights
  • Unlicensed artwork
  • Unauthorized use of names, images, or likenesses
  • Misleading content
  • Illegal content
  • Any dispute connected to customer-submitted materials

13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website, services, quote process, communication channels, or production services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Submit stolen, unauthorized, or unlicensed artwork
  • Impersonate another person, business, brand, or organization
  • Submit hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, or unlawful content
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with website operation
  • Abuse, threaten, harass, or mislead Unbound Ink or its representatives
  • Attempt fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse, or payment misuse
  • Resell our services in a misleading or unauthorized way
  • Use our services for any purpose we determine conflicts with our business standards

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order or request that we believe violates these Terms.

14. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

Unbound Ink reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or decline any quote request, artwork submission, order, customer communication, or service request at our discretion.

Reasons may include, but are not limited to:

  • Suspected intellectual property infringement
  • Unlicensed or unauthorized artwork
  • Incomplete or unclear order details
  • Production limitations
  • Garment availability issues
  • Payment issues
  • Fraud risk
  • Abusive customer behavior
  • Content that conflicts with our business standards
  • Requests that may create legal, safety, or reputational risk

If an order is refused or canceled before production begins, refund eligibility will be handled according to our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

15. Mockups, Proofs, and Digital Previews

Mockups, proofs, digital previews, and visual references are provided for general production guidance only.

Final products may vary slightly from digital previews due to:

  • Garment texture
  • Garment size
  • Garment color
  • Fabric composition
  • Artwork resolution
  • Print size
  • Print method
  • Lighting
  • Screen display differences
  • Supplier batch differences
  • Production conditions

Mockups and proofs are not exact guarantees of final color, size, placement, texture, or appearance.

16. Product Images, Colors, and Production Variations

We make reasonable efforts to display garment colors, product images, design examples, and service details accurately. However, colors and appearance may vary due to screen settings, lighting, photography, fabric texture, garment dye lots, supplier changes, and production conditions.

Minor differences in color, placement, sizing, texture, or print appearance are normal in custom apparel production and are not automatically considered defects.

Exact color matching is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing before production.

17. Reorders

Reorders may vary slightly from previous orders due to garment availability, supplier changes, fabric differences, dye lot variations, artwork changes, print settings, equipment conditions, or other production variables.

Unbound Ink does not guarantee that future reorders will be identical to previous orders unless expressly agreed in writing before production.

18. Production and Shipping Timelines

Production and delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Custom apparel timelines may be affected by:

  • Artwork issues
  • Customer response time
  • Garment availability
  • Supplier delays
  • Production schedule
  • Equipment issues
  • Weather
  • Holidays
  • Carrier delays
  • Order complexity
  • Circumstances outside our control

If we become aware that an order cannot ship within a stated or legally required timeframe, we may contact the customer with updated timing, cancellation options, or refund options as required by applicable law.

Customers with event-specific deadlines must communicate those deadlines before placing an order. Unbound Ink does not guarantee production completion or delivery by a specific event date unless confirmed in writing.

19. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

Unbound Ink is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, returned packages, lost shipments, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer-provided addresses.

Once an order is transferred to a shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by carrier operations, weather, holidays, routing issues, theft, building access, or other circumstances outside our control.

If tracking shows an order was delivered to the address provided at checkout, Unbound Ink is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or incorrectly retrieved packages after delivery, except as required by law or expressly stated in our Shipping Policy.

20. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges, reprints, replacements, store credits, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Because our products are custom-made, we do not accept general returns or exchanges after production begins.

Customers must report qualifying issues within the timeframe stated in our Return & Refund Policy and provide required documentation, including clear photos and order confirmation.

Do not return any item without written authorization from Unbound Ink.

21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If there is an issue with your order, please contact Unbound Ink first so we can review and attempt to resolve the concern.

Filing a payment dispute before contacting us may delay the review process.

We reserve the right to provide order records, customer approvals, production details, tracking information, communication history, and policy references to payment processors, banks, or card networks in response to payment disputes.
