Artwork Requirements

Great artwork makes better apparel.

To ensure the best possible print quality for your custom t-shirts, please review our artwork requirements carefully. Providing your artwork in the correct format helps us process your order efficiently and deliver a product you'll love! If you have any questions, we are happy to assist!

We do not print trademarked, copyrighted, or licensed images unless you provide proof of ownership or authorized usage rights. By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the rights or have legal permission to reproduce the design. Unauthorized content will be rejected and refunded.

1. Artwork Will Print As Is

Please check that your files are in the size you need to print and is not mirrored before submitting. Once your file is uploaded, it will be printed exactly as submitted. Any errors in resolution, transparency, color, or layout are your responsibility.

2. Proper File Format

For optimal results, especially for sharp lines and vibrant colors, we highly recommend vectorized files in PDF, SVG, or Ai with transparent background. Vector graphics are resolution-independent, meaning they can be scaled to any size without losing clarity or becoming pixelated.

Alternatively, raster files (JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD) with a resolution that must be at least 300 DPI or higher at the actual print size with transparent background are also accepted. Keep in mind that smaller details in your artwork may become pixelated. Create artwork at high resolution.

Send your design at the exact size you want it printed at. We cannot improve the resolution of a low-quality image by simply enlarging it. This will result in a blurry print. Example: If you want your design printed at 5 x 3 inches wide, your artwork should be design in that exact size. Submitting a smaller image and then stretching it will result in a blurry, pixelated print.

3. Convert All Fonts

Fonts used in your design may not be available in our system. To prevent font substitution issues when opening your file, please convert all text to outlines or curves before submitting vector files. This embeds the font shape into the design, ensuring it looks exactly as you intended, even if we don't have your specific font installed.

4. Transparent Background

For best results, submit your design with a transparent background. Save your file with transparent background in PNG or PDF format.

5. Minimum Line Thickness

For clear printing, lines should be at least 0.7mm (approximately 2 points) thick. This ensures a sufficient amount of white underbase printed beneath the color and consistent printing. Very fine lines or intricate details below this threshold may not reproduce clearly or consistently and may not print correctly if too thin. Ensure artwork have sharp edges to achieve the best print quality.

  • Positive Space (Printing Areas):
All design elements that will be printed (positive space) must have a minimum line thickness of 0.7 mm to ensure consistent ink coverage and avoid print breakage.
  • Negative Space (Hollow Areas):
Any non-printing areas or hollow sections (negative space) should have a minimum gap width of 0.7 mm to prevent ink merging and preserve detail clarity.

Printed Colors May Not Match Your Screen

Due to screen-to-print variations and CMYK process differences, exact color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Common Artwork Questions

What file type should I upload?

Upload the highest-quality version of your artwork available. Preferred files include vector files such as.pdf, .svg, .aior high-res files like.png, .psd at least (300 DPI). Files with transparent backgrounds are best when your design does not need a solid background.

Can you help if my file is not print-ready?

Yes, we can help with minor production-prep issues like low resolution, missing transparency, sizing concerns, or basic file setup problems. We do not design, redesign, recreate, or substantially alter artwork. If your file needs more than a minor fix, we’ll let you know before production begins so you can provide an updated print-ready file.

Should my background be transparent?

Yes, when possible. It helps avoid unwanted print areas.

Can I see a mockup before production?

When needed, we’ll provide guidance or confirmation before moving forward.

Do you accept hand-drawn or sketched artwork?

No. We do not accept hand-drawn or sketched artwork for production. Artwork must be submitted as a clean, digital, print-ready file. If your idea starts as a sketch, it should be digitized and prepared for print before submitting.

What resolution should my file be?

We recommend artwork at 300 DPI at the final print size. Low-resolution files may look blurry, pixelated, or soft when printed

What size should my artwork be?

Your artwork should be created at or near the final size you want printed. If you’re unsure about sizing or placement, submit your file and notes — we’ll review it before production.

Can I upload a screenshot?

Screenshots are not ideal for production because they are often low resolution. You may upload one as a reference, but we’ll likely need a higher-quality artwork file before printing.
